ANTI-CORRUPTION AND BRIBERY

Anti-Corruption and Bribery Statement

At FASS, we are committed to conducting our business with the highest ethical standards and integrity. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards bribery and corruption in any form. This statement outlines our commitment to uphold these principles, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

1. Our Commitment:

We are dedicated to preventing any form of corruption and bribery in our operations. This includes all employees, volunteers, contractors, and suppliers associated with FASS. We believe in maintaining transparency and accountability in all our business dealings.

2. Definition of Bribery and Corruption:

Bribery is defined as offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting something of value to influence a business decision or action unfairly. Corruption refers to the abuse of power for personal gain.

3. What We Prohibit:

At FASS, we strictly prohibit:

  • The offering, giving, or receiving of bribes or other improper payments to or from any individual or organisation.
  • The acceptance of gifts, hospitality, or other benefits that could influence decision-making or lead to a conflict of interest.
  • Keeping a cash gift.  All cash gifts must be declared immediately and paid into the charity accounts.

4. Reporting Concerns:

If you suspect or become aware of any activity that may constitute bribery or corruption, we encourage you to report it immediately. We take all reports seriously and will investigate them thoroughly.

5. Training and Awareness:

To promote a culture of integrity, we provide regular training and resources to our staff and partners regarding our anti-corruption and bribery policies.

6. Legal Compliance:

We are fully committed to ensuring that our practices are in compliance with all local and international anti-corruption laws and regulations. We regularly review our policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
